- There was a time when I was helping a college student with something via Skype. My internet cut off for about 2 hours and when it came on the other user was offline.
- The internet and TV randomly cut off for 3 hours while I was HOSTING a Minecraft Server. The people I was playing with didn't come back for the remainder of the day.
- I was doing a project (Last minute stuff), and the internet cut off for the remainder of the night.
- I was playing PS3 with a friend and my brother online. We were disconnected from our friend and the server we were on. When it came back on, our friend didn't want to play anymore.
- I was assisting someone via TeamViewer (Remote Control) when my internet cut off for the remainder of the night. The person just went with a system restore.
- I was once uploading a 3 GB video to YouTube when my internet hiccuped several times that day. The video never got uploaded because I eventually ragequitted.
For their information, I've locked out my iPhone's SIM due to a PUK code which I'm too lazy to reobtain. I can NOT utilize 3G.
One Comcast Employee once told me that the hiccuping is a new security feature, which changes my IP every hiccup. First off, this is a LIE. I checked "WhatIsMyIP" and the IP doesn't change. Second, why should they do that? I'd rather just reset my damn router and get a new IP. Better than this... Security feature... If it is one. Third, there should be no excuse for a hiccup. There is really no maintenance going on. If they really needed to cut the internet off seemingly almost every 36 hours for maintenance then they suck... badly.
Seriously, go to hell Comcast. You suck.
