So our Router went out yesterday and we had to bypass it via the RJ-45 connected to the NETGEAR. What did I do? Take a laptop, connect it to that RJ-45 (Thus bypassing the router), make a hot-spot via Connectify, and that fixed my Wi-Fi issue temporarily...
Ah routers... You can never have one for too long... Can you? Well, allow me to tell you my solution to this... This is temporary but it works.
1.) Take out the RJ-45 from your router. It has to be the one connected to your Cable Modem.
2.) Connect it to your computer...
3.) Unplug then plug back in your Cable Modem, you should get internet on the computer connected via the RJ-45 Cable.
4.) Download and run Connectify. This will make a hotspot out of that internet that you have.
5.) Enjoy temporary, (And slow) internet.
